We're seeking dedicated domiciliary care assistants to join our team and become part of our mission to enhance the quality of life for our cherished service users.

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Providing personal care to service users
  • Ensure compliance with the care home and agency policy and procedures
  • Maintain service users' confidentiality and respect the rights of service users.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet
  • Utilise equipment to move service users when necessary
  • Help tidy the service users' home or room
  • Assist with meal preparation
  • Administer medication
  • Take the service users' vital signs such as blood
    pressure and temperature
  • Provide companionship and/or live-in care
  • Assist nurses and other staff when needed
  • Adhere to professional standards

Entry Requirement For This Role

  • There are no formal academic entry requirements. 
  • Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic, Caring, Friendly, Trustworthy, Compassionate, Teamwork, Patience and Reliable.
  • Flexibility: Your hours could include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, allowing for a variety of scheduling options.
  • Experience: While some care experience is preferred but not needed or an essential criterion as full training is provided to all staff members, ensuring that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role.
  • Transport: You will need to hold a driving license and have access to your own vehicle. However, if you can commute to our Service Users and Head Office, we're open to considering your application.
  • Hold a current or willing to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
